Don Olson

Founder, Senior Advisor
& VP of Engineering

Founded in 1993 by Donald R. Olson, a former Executive Vice President and Chief Engineer of Hunt Valve Corporation, BOC Water Hydraulics has evolved into the industry leader for descale valves, decoking valves, mill cylinder repairs and the highest quality engineering designs for a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Spanning 5 decades, Donald Olson earned a global reputation as an innovator in water hydraulics and is the architect of many highly successful and patented product lines including descale valves and control valves. His innovative spirit, demand for quality, and desire to produce more durable, longer lasting products for the manufacturing industry remain the foundation of BOC Water Hydraulics today. As more companies transition from older Hunt and Elwood valves to BOC valves, our company continues to grow in the marketplace, adding newer, more advanced product lines that are more reliable and cost effective than those offered by the traditional segment suppliers. Our products range from cartridge type valves to highly durable steel-on-steel cylinders. We offer a wide variety of services from component supply to complete applications design and build. BOC's innovative product line have set the industry standard and continue to be quickly adopted by the market place. Located in Salem, Ohio since the founding of the company, BOC reinvested in the company and the area by breaking ground on a $3 million expansion project in 2012. With it came a new corporate headquarters office along with a state-of-the-art 15,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The company continues to operate at this location today.
